Egypt & Uzbekistan
Legal

Privacy policy.

Last updated · 12 August 2026

This policy explains how EgyptUzbekistan.com ("we", "our") handles personal data when you browse the site, submit a request for quotation (RFQ), or email us.

1. Who we are

EgyptUzbekistan.com is operated by an Egyptian fresh-produce export company serving business buyers in Uzbekistan. Privacy enquiries can be sent to [email protected].

2. Data we collect

RFQ submissions. We collect the company and contact name, business email, telephone number, country, product interest and any message you provide. We also record the submission time and source domain.

Security data. Cloudflare processes request metadata such as your IP address and browser details to deliver and secure the site. For RFQ abuse prevention, the IP address is converted into a short-lived, salted hash; the raw IP address is not stored with the RFQ record.

Email. If you email us, we keep the message and contact details needed to answer and maintain a commercial record.

3. Why we use it

We use this data to answer enquiries, prepare quotations and commercial documentation, manage an order, prevent abuse, secure the service and meet legal, customs, banking or accounting duties. We do not sell personal data or share it with third parties for their own marketing.

4. Processors and international transfers

RFQs are processed by Cloudflare Pages Functions and stored in our Cloudflare D1 database. Notifications are delivered to our team through Brevo and Telegram. Email correspondence is handled by our business email provider. These services may process data outside your country under their applicable data-protection terms and transfer safeguards.

5. Analytics and cookies

Necessary local storage remembers your analytics choice and supports site security. Cloudflare may provide privacy-focused aggregate performance measurement.

Yandex Metrica loads only after you choose Allow analytics. If enabled, it may set analytics cookies and collect pages viewed, link interactions, approximate location, device and browser information. Session replay (Webvisor) is disabled. You can withdraw consent at any time using Analytics settings in the footer; the site then disables Metrica and removes accessible Metrica cookies.

6. Retention

RFQ records are kept for no longer than 24 months. If an enquiry becomes an order or active commercial account, required correspondence and transaction records may be kept in our operational systems for the relationship and the applicable legal retention period. Security and provider logs follow each provider's documented retention controls.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may ask us to access, correct, delete, restrict or export your personal data, or object to its use. You may also withdraw analytics consent without affecting prior lawful processing. Email [email protected] with the subject "Privacy request". We aim to respond within 30 days.

8. Updates

We update this policy when our practices change. The date shown above identifies the current version.
