Egypt & Uzbekistan
Freight routes

Egypt to Uzbekistan, five ways.

Five corridors connect Egyptian pack-houses to Uzbek importers — air, sea, road, and rail. Pick the one that fits your commodity, volume, and shelf-life.

There's no single Egypt to Uzbekistan route — there are six plus an Egyptian-customs filing window, each with its own transit band, cost band, and reefer profile. The fastest is air freight Cairo → Tashkent at 2–4 days, used for strawberries, mangoes and Valentine's programmes. The two lowest cost-per-kg routes are sea + road via Poti → Aktau (25–40 days, the volume workhorse for FCL citrus and dates) and sea + rail via Novorossiysk (18–28 days, subject to trade-compliance review on each booking).

For mid-cost flexibility, sea + TIR via Mersin (12–18 days) keeps reefer continuity through Türkiye and the South Caucasus, while the Middle Corridor (TITR) rail route runs across the Caspian. The Poti → Aktau sea+road option and the new Bandar Abbas → Tashkent road route round out the lineup. Egyptian export shipments must also clear the Nafeza / ACID 48-hour pre-registration before sailing.
